We are seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to join our Investment Department at our Walker location. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for educating clients on our products and services, helping them achieve their financial goals.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will meet individually with clients to determine their financial objectives, risk tolerance, income, expenses, and assets. They will offer strategic advice on products and services, such as investments, insurance coverage, and debt management tools. Additionally, they will perform market research to stay current with financial trends and prepare financial documents, such as income projections and investment reports.
Our ideal candidate will also identify and pursue potential clients to maintain a strong client base. They will develop relationships with our staff to foster trust and referrals of bank clients to the Investment Department. Furthermore, they will refer clients to the bank for relevant products when appropriate.
Skills and QualificationsThe successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of industry and federal regulations, as well as in-depth knowledge of financial and insurance products. They will have expertise in financial planning and investment strategies, advanced analytical thinking skills, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
They will also be proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and financial planning software, with a strong ability to assess client needs and provide effective sales, presentation, and customer service. A Series 7 license, Series 65 or 66 License, and Insurance license (life & health) are required for this position.
What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) profit-sharing plan, paid time off, life insurance, and more.
