Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting each customer in a courteous and professional manner, assisting with their questions and concerns, and requesting additional help when needed to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Process prescriptions, including translation of SIG codes, product selection, counting and measuring drugs, capping and uncapping vials and bottles, labeling of prescriptions, and resolving Third Party rejections and completing any manual claim forms.
- Perform all register transactions, including cash, check, and charge transactions, and bag merchandise upon completion of sale.
- Participate in all required store operational meetings and maintain a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy department, according to CVS standards.
- Assist front store operations when needed, including operating a cash register, following company policies and procedures regarding cash register performance, and requesting additional help when needed to increase customer satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including maintaining inventory, processing photofinishing orders, and completing minor in-store repairs.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Licensure requirements vary by state.
- Must have the ability to perform the following tasks: customer service, operations, inventory management, and front store activities.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
