We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager to join our team at Brook & Whittle Ltd. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, as well as maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sustainability initiatives, including waste reduction and recycling programs.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on safety procedures and protocols.
- Monitor and report on compliance with regulatory requirements, including OSHA and EPA regulations.
- Develop and maintain safety data sheets and ensure they are readily accessible.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health, or related field.
- Five (5) plus years' experience in a manufacturing environment leading environmental and safety compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload.
- Working knowledge of federal and state regulations, including OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
- Safety Certification(s) (e.g. ASP, OHST, STS, etc.) a plus.
