Job Summary
Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school setting near Dickinson, TX. As a contract SLP, you will work with students to assess and address speech and language needs, providing individual and group therapy sessions, and collaborating with teachers and administrators to develop individualized education plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language needs, and develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address these needs.
- Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop and implement strategies to support students' speech and language development, and provide consultation and training as needed.
- Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of student progress, and provide regular progress reports to parents and administrators.
- Caseload Management: Organize and manage student caseloads, and develop schedules for therapy sessions and consultations.
Requirements
- Education and Licensure: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and Texas SLP license.
- Skills and Attributes: Excellent communication and organizational skills, up-to-date knowledge of Texas Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings, and professionalism and accountability.
