Position Overview:
This role is essential in upholding the exceptional cleanliness standards within our guest accommodations. The individual will be responsible for refreshing rooms for guests who are continuing their stay, as well as meticulously preparing rooms for incoming guests.

Key Responsibilities:
As a vital member of our housekeeping team, your duties will include:

  • Thoroughly cleaning guest rooms, which encompasses making beds, sanitizing bathrooms, vacuuming carpets, and dusting surfaces.
  • Restocking and replacing used amenities within guest rooms to ensure a pleasant experience for our guests.
  • Communicating the cleanliness status of each room upon completion of cleaning tasks.
  • Removing room service trays and tables from guest accommodations promptly.
  • Maintaining an organized and well-stocked supply cart for efficient operations.
  • Inspecting all cleaning equipment before and after use to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Responding to guest inquiries and requests in a friendly and efficient manner.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A keen attention to detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
  • Strong customer service skills to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • The ability and willingness to stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
  • The physical capability to bend, stretch, reach, and lift up to 20 lbs.
  • A flexible schedule, including availability on weekends and holidays.
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping role is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
Candidates must be able to:

  • Stand and walk for prolonged periods or throughout an entire shift.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects of moderate weight without assistance.

Working Environment:
The role primarily involves working within the hotel premises, including guest rooms, dining areas, and kitchen facilities, with occasional movement around the property.

Employees will utilize:

  • Cleaning supplies and a designated cleaning cart.
  • Personal protective equipment as required.
  • Communication devices for team coordination.
