Contract Duration: 1 Year

Compensation: Hourly rates between $35-$36, with a per diem split of $7.25/hr (taxable). Additional benefits include a $200 sign-on bonus upon the first payment.

Payment Schedule: Weekly

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Execute the removal and installation of advanced avionics components.
  2. Fabricate wire harnesses and conduct installations, terminations, and functional tests of avionics systems.
  3. Perform intermediate wire making, bundling, and pre-pinning for VIP aircraft completions.
  4. Route and connect wiring to various accessories, circuit breakers, and connectors.
  5. Prepare and pin new system terminations according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
  6. Reassemble aircraft interiors and avionics equipment bays following successful installations.
  7. Document all removal and installation processes in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  8. Conduct wire checks and system checks to ensure functionality.
  9. Engage in troubleshooting and functional testing of advanced avionics systems.
  10. Ensure all work is documented accurately and timely.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or GED.
  2. Avionics certification or relevant technical training.
  3. A minimum of 6 years of experience in avionics within the business aviation or military sectors.
  4. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  5. Strong communication skills in English.

Skills and Abilities:

  1. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to utilize multimeters and other necessary tools.
  2. Capacity to comprehend and retain on-the-job training.

Work Environment: The role involves working in a hangar environment, which may expose the employee to elevated noise levels and varying temperatures. Occasional outdoor exposure to environmental elements may also occur.
