Key Responsibilities- Assist in assessments and implement therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed SLP.
- Facilitate group sessions and document progress.
- Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to support students' communication skills and academic success.
- Bachelor's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program or related field.
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA).
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in New Mexico.
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but not required.
- Knowledge of speech and language development in children.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
