Job Summary:

As a Medical Scribe, you will play a vital role in facilitating patient flow and ensuring accurate and complete medical records. You will work closely with healthcare providers to document patient interactions, procedures, and treatments. This is a full-time position, 36 hours per week, with a schedule of 7:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday.

Key Responsibilities:
Accurately document medical visits and procedures
Maintain medical records and ensure timely billing
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Comply with legal and ethical requirements for preparing medical documents

Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
Experience using electronic medical records
Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Medical Assistant
Six months of Medical Scribe experience or related clinical training

Work Environment:
Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies
Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors
May be expected to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
