Job Description

As an Orthopedic Imaging Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to perform radiology procedures as ordered by physicians and providers. You will also process room add-on cases prior to scheduled cases, use equipment in compliance with all safety requirements, and comply with all HIPAA and OSHA regulations.

Essential Functions:
  • Perform radiology procedures as ordered by physicians and providers
  • Process room add-on cases prior to scheduled cases
  • Use equipment in compliance with all safety requirements
  • Comply with all HIPAA and OSHA regulations
  • Report any patient complaints or concerns to the Radiology Supervisor or Imaging Director
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's Degree in Radiology Technology and current ARRT certification
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital or clinic environment
  • Current state and ARRT certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Knowledge of radiology exam policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of operating a PC and applicable computer software
