Job Title: Occupational Health Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our team at General Motors. As an Occupational Health Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing emergency care, first aid, and episodic treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses within standing orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer professional nursing care to sick and/or injured employees
  • Perform and evaluate various clinical and diagnostic tests
  • Assist plant physician in minor surgical procedures
  • Interview and document medical history of employees
  • Work effectively with the Health Services team and other departments
  • Maintain appropriate medical records to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Perform and document physical exams
  • Adhere to common practices and procedures throughout the department
  • Maintain equipment and supplies
  • Assist with the promotion of plant wellness programs
  • Work with health services customers in a knowledgeable and professional manner
Requirements:
  • Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Valid state nursing license
  • 2+ years Nursing experience
  • Certified in Healthcare Provider CPR/AED
  • Proficient with electronic medical records and basic computer programs/software
  • Must be able to work an off shift (Evening Shift)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  • ER or Occupational Health experience
  • Certification as Occupational Health Nursing (COHN) or Occupational Health Nursing Specialist (COHN-S)
  • Prior experience with case management
Compensation and Benefits:

The expected base compensation for this role is: $64,100,700. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position. An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance. This job is not eligible for relocation benefits. Any relocation costs would be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
