Bakery Specialist

Cake Production and Quality Assurance Role

The Nothing Bundt Cakes Bakery is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our delicious cakes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.

You will follow our proprietary recipes and production methods to create a variety of flavors and sizes, while maintaining a fast-paced production schedule. Your attention to detail and ability to work accurately with measuring instruments and commercial-grade equipment are crucial to our success.

In addition to cake production, you will be responsible for adhering to our health and safety guidelines, as well as maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Your ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to evaluate products and processes to ensure compliance with standards will be essential to this role.

Key Accountabilities:

• Follow proprietary recipes and production methods with precision to meet productivity goals
  
• Utilize measuring instruments, commercial-grade mixers and ovens, and other tools to bake cakes
  
• Prepare raw ingredients and equipment for baking, place cake pans in hot ovens, and monitor the baking process
  
• Adhere to proper packaging, labeling, and storage of baked cakes, as well as product rotation standards
  
• Maintain baking and refrigeration logs
  
• Assist the Bakery Manager in developing cake production plans and monitoring inventory of baking supplies
  
• Evaluate raw ingredients and baked cakes to ensure compliance with NbC standards and inform management of any quality control issues
  
• Clean, sanitize, and restock the workstation to ensure all baking supplies are prepared for the next shift
  
• Comply with all health and safety guidelines and NbC policies and procedures
