We are seeking highly motivated Behavior Intervention Specialists to join our team at the Institute for Applied Behavior Analysis (IABA). As a key member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to work with children and adolescents with developmental disabilities, implementing personalized treatment plans, encouraging skill development, and providing support needed for clients to achieve their goals.

Our positive-only methods, based on evidence-based principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), emphasize encouragement and reinforcement of desired behaviors. You will work one-on-one with clients in various settings, including homes, schools, and communities, promoting skill development and enhancing play, self-care, cognitive, social, and communication skills.

About the Role
  • Implement personalized treatment plans for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities
  • Conduct one-on-one direct ABA therapy sessions in school or home settings
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks and academic responsibilities
  • Teach adaptive play, self-care, cognitive, social, and communication skills
  • Data collection and analysis to track client progress
Requirements
  • US work authorization required
  • Must pass criminal background check
  • Covid-19 vaccination (including recent vaccine or at least 1 booster)
  • Negative TB test results
  • Reliable computer and internet access available daily
  • Reliable transportation and CA driver's license
  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds, walk, run, bend, squat, kneel, sit, and play on the floor

Compensation and Benefits
  • $23-$30 per hour salary range
