About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Analyst to join our team as an Inventory Management Specialist. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving business success by analyzing and interpreting data to inform inventory purchasing decisions.

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year (dependent on experience)

Job Summary

The Inventory Management Specialist will be responsible for developing and maintaining accurate forecasts of customer demand for products, analyzing sales trends, and identifying opportunities for optimization. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts of customer demand for products
  • Analyze sales trends and identify opportunities for optimization
  • Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and delivery terms
  • Implement inventory control systems to prevent stockouts and overstocking
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory management
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed as an Inventory Management Specialist, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex data sets
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
