As a Paramedic with Mercy, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and transportation services. Under the direction of the Medical Director, you will perform direct patient care, including assessment, evaluation, and stabilization, to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide emergency medical care, including basic and advanced life support, to patients in need.
- Operate emergency medical equipment, such as ambulances and medical devices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments and best practices.
- Current Paramedic (EMT-P) licensure for the state of practice.
- Valid driver's license.
- At least 19 years of age.
- Hazmat awareness level training, ACLS at hire, PALS within 6 months of hire/transfer.
