About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fiber Network Technician to join our team at Highline Services LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing fiber broadband services for residential and commercial customers within our service areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fiber optics and telecommunications technology, with experience in installation, maintenance, and repair of voice, video, and data services over copper, fiber, and wireless networks. A valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check are also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fiber Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain fiber optic internet services in homes and businesses, ensuring high-quality connections and minimal downtime.
  • Customer Service: Communicate effectively with customers, providing excellent service and support to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Network Support: Assist in troubleshooting and resolving network issues, collaborating with other teams as needed.
  • Equipment Installation: Install and configure home internet devices, smart home devices, and VOIP phones for residential and commercial customers.
Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stretching, kneeling, and squatting.
  • Valid driver's license and insurability by Highline insurance carrier.
  • Background check performed prior to employment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience.
