Job Summary:

As a Radiology Interventional Technologist, you will work under the direction of a Radiologist to perform procedures of an invasive nature to aid in the evaluation of pathological entities. You will specialize in the performance of procedures to aid in the evaluation of pathological entities as prescribed by a physician.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Explain examination procedures to patients and prepare them for the examination.
  • Obtain additional information about patients' medical histories as necessary.
  • Prepare prescribed contrast media, medications, and IV solutions for administration to patients.
  • Review clinical data on requisitions, analyze anatomical structures of patients, set up equipment, and assist Radiologists in performing complex diagnostic invasive procedures.
  • Prepare and set up sterile equipment, physiological monitors, pressure injectors, and imaging equipment required for procedures.
  • Ensure adequate supplies, such as needles and catheters, are on hand and properly stored.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Maintain required hours of continued medical education.
  • Maintain a Healthcare Provider certification (BLS).
  • Be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) with the advanced registry in one of the following: Cardiac Interventional Radiography (CI), Vascular Interventional Radiography (VI), or Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CV).

(USD)27 hrly - (USD)35 hrly.

Work Schedule:
40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week.
