Role Summary:
Hartford Healthcare is actively seeking a per diem Physician Assistant to enhance our vascular surgery team. This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities including patient care management, crisis intervention, and daily patient assessments. The selected candidate will engage in pre-operative and post-operative care, assist in surgical procedures as necessary, and facilitate patient discharges while collaborating closely with Vascular Surgery Attending Physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine physical examinations and develop comprehensive medical and psychosocial treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to formulate plans for further evaluation and referrals.
- Administer appropriate treatments within the scope of practice and identify cases requiring physician intervention.
Work Environment:
This position is set within an inpatient vascular surgery setting, providing an opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals committed to high-quality patient care.
Support for Advanced Practitioners:
Hartford Healthcare prioritizes the support and development of Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants through:

Qualifications:
