Overview

The WMC Health Network is seeking a highly skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per year

Job Description:

  • We are looking for an experienced Diagnostic Radiology Technologist with a strong background in CT scanning and x-ray equipment operation.
  • As a Medical Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating advanced medical imaging equipment, including CT scanners and x-ray machines, to produce high-quality images of patients' internal structures.
  • You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to prepare patients for scans, ensure proper imaging protocols, and maintain accurate records.
  • In addition to technical skills, you will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably with CT equipment.
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA School of Radiology.
  • Licensed by the State of New York and certified as a Registered Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
