In this position, you will be instrumental in performing energy efficiency assessments and collecting essential technical data within a specified area. Your knowledge will support our Home Efficiency Specialists in delivering personalized recommendations to homeowners, driving energy efficiency improvements and promoting a sustainable future.
Key Responsibilities:
Energy Efficiency Assessments:
- Perform comprehensive energy efficiency assessments in residential properties, utilizing specialized tools and following established guidelines.
- Conduct detailed inspections to identify energy-saving opportunities, including insulation, air sealing, and heating system improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of assessment outcomes and ensure adherence to program standards.
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Gather and evaluate technical data during energy assessments to assist Home Efficiency Specialists in formulating tailored recommendations for homeowners.
- Provide insights and regular updates to program personnel, ensuring timely and precise reporting.
- Keep organized documentation of customer interactions and assessment results.
Client Engagement:
- Serve as the local, on-site representative for the program and our organization, maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.
- Effectively communicate with homeowners, addressing questions, clarifying energy efficiency concepts, and advocating for our services.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring homeowner satisfaction throughout the assessment process.
Area Management:
- Travel within the designated area to conduct energy assessments at various residential sites.
- Efficiently manage time and resources to meet assessment goals and provide prompt, reliable service to homeowners.
- Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and strict compliance with safety protocols during all site visits.
Qualifications and Skills:
- No prior experience is necessary.
- We offer comprehensive training and provide all required equipment.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, along with strong computer skills and proficiency in using technology for data collection and reporting.
- A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are essential.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to follow established protocols are required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to engage effectively with homeowners.
Benefits:
- Opportunity to earn a competitive annual salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000, which includes fees and bonuses.
- Eligibility for a $2,500 sign-on bonus if currently BPI certified.
