We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CCVI Therapist to join our team at Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing behavioral health services to survivors of gun violence in the City of Chester and Delaware County.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and facilitate individual and group therapy sessions
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide support services for children and their families
- Identify needs of clients for case managers and provide referrals as necessary
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure quality and effectiveness of groups
- Document group sessions and submit notes on a weekly basis
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, therapy, counseling, or related field
- Two years of post-master's experience in grief counseling/support and/or child and adolescent counseling/therapy
- Effective communication and public speaking skills
- Familiarity with documentation of clinical work in DAP and/or DIRP format
- Knowledge and understanding of the theory and practice of psychotherapy and the role art/music can play in treatment
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are welcome to apply
- Master's Degree in Art Therapy or Counseling or a related field with an emphasis in Art Therapy also welcome to apply
