Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Daytime Cashier to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly and attentive customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Operate a cash register, process transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling and reporting.
• Assist customers in finding products, answering questions, and providing solutions to meet their needs.
• Participate in visual merchandising, including stocking shelves, facing merchandise, and maintaining store displays.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive store environment, promoting a culture of respect and teamwork.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
