School Psychologist

Our team at Vocovision is currently assisting a K-12 school district in Georgia set up interviews for their remote School Psychologist Position.

This role offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while making a meaningful impact on the lives of students from diverse backgrounds.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized intervention plans and support strategies.
• Provide direct counseling services to students, either individually or in groups, to address various concerns and promote healthy coping mechanisms.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate educational plans for students with disabilities.
• Offer consultation and guidance to teachers and staff on issues related to student behavior management, crisis intervention, and mental health support.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessment results, progress notes, and communication with stakeholders.
• Stay current on best practices, research, and relevant laws and regulations in the field of school psychology.

• Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Georgia.
• Experience working with K-12 students in a school or educational setting.
• Strong assessment and evaluation skills, including knowledge of various assessment tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using technology for virtual assessments, counseling, and collaboration (e.g., video conferencing platforms, digital assessment tools).
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with professional guidelines and laws.
