Job Summary

As a MRI Technologist at Swedish Health Services, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, conducting and performing MRI examinations, and assuming responsibility for designated areas or procedures.

Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI examinations on patients, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
  • Develop and implement procedures for designated areas or procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory completion of a formal radiologic technology training program.
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist licensure upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification upon hire.
  • National Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification within 1 year of hire, or National Certified MRI Technologist - American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists certification within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience as a radiologic technologist, with one year of experience in an MRI department.
