Manchester University Residence Hall Director
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
Job Overview:
The Residence Hall Director at Manchester University is a 12-month, full-time, live-in position that requires a commitment to fostering an environment of diversity and inclusion among students, faculty, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage residence halls and resident assistants, providing support for individual students and the Office of Residential Life.
- Serve as a success advisor, providing holistic support to new, transfer, and continuing students from diverse backgrounds.
- Participate in the restorative justice conduct process and university committees as requested.
- Manage programming and hall budgets, leading campus-wide events hosted by Residential Life.
- Respond to emergencies while on call and complete daily office hours.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience in residential life or student leadership positions preferred.
- Self-directed, well-organized, and committed to the mission of Residential Life and Manchester University.
