Job Overview

Brockton Area Multi-Servi is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing support and guidance to individuals in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and care to residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as medication management, personal care, and household chores.
  • Monitor and report any changes in resident behavior or health status to supervisors and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and supportive living environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in social work, psychology, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health or developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed.
