The Nutritional Services Aide plays a crucial role within the Dietary Department, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities of a Nutritional Services Aide:
- Prepares meals and snacks according to assigned responsibilities, established menus, schedules, resident preferences, and hygiene protocols.
- Serves meals in designated locations, including resident rooms and communal dining areas.
- Distributes food trays and carts to residents, collects used items, and prepares for the next meal service.
- Assists in managing food supplies, including storage, labeling, and dating in compliance with regulations.
- Conducts cleaning duties such as dishwashing, sanitizing equipment, and ensuring a clean work environment.
- Supports the culinary team in meal preparation and service.
Required Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience:
1+ years in food service and long-term care settings.
