Job Title: MRI Technologist Travel Position

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment in Richmond, Virginia.

About the Job

This is a 13-week travel assignment with a guaranteed 40 hours per week, 8 hours a day, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.

Responsibilities
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Screen patients for MRI safety prior to procedure performance
  • Position patients for MRI scans using immobilization and protective equipment
  • Assist radiologists with procedure performance
  • Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality and collate processed images
  • Load and operate power injectors for contrast media administration
  • Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist
  • ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT National Certification with registration in magnetic resonance imaging
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
