About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at MADRES BRUNCH WHITTIER INC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Prepare a variety of dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients, adhering to our culinary standards.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and delegate tasks to other kitchen team members, ensuring seamless execution of daily operations.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Food Safety: Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Opening and Closing Procedures: Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures, ensuring a smooth transition between shifts.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or management, contributing to the overall success of our kitchen team.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Certifications: ServeSafe or Food Handler's Certification is required, demonstrating your commitment to food safety and quality.
- Culinary Skills: Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes, with the ability to create innovative and delicious dishes.
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Physical Demands: Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds.
