Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance is the most extensive and comprehensive orthopaedic surgery group in Tennessee. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-quality radiographic procedures as directed by physicians.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while ensuring the production of quality radiographs.
  • Assist in lifting and transporting patients using wheelchairs and stretchers.
  • Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
  • Gain patient cooperation by alleviating anxieties, explaining procedures, and addressing patient inquiries.
  • Prepare patients for radiographic procedures through appropriate dressing/undressing, positioning, and equipment setup.
  • Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by employing radiation safety techniques, utilizing beam-restrictive devices, and applying patient shielding methods.
Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

  • High school diploma is mandatory.
  • Certification or an Associate/Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology is required.
  • State of Tennessee Medical Board X-ray Operators License is necessary.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • ARRT certification is required.
  • Previous experience in orthopedic x-ray is preferred.
