Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse Opportunity

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled CVOR Registered Nurse to join our team at MedPro Healthcare Staffing. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with a top healthcare client and gain valuable experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting.
Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing nursing care for patients before, during, and after surgery. You will also serve as a patient educator, circulating nurse, and/or scrub nurse, working closely with other medical professionals to ensure the highest level of care. Your responsibilities will include:
- • Providing pre-operative education and preparing patients for surgery
• Assisting with anesthesia administration and monitoring vital signs during procedures
• Maintaining a sterile environment and handling instruments and equipment within the operating room
Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must have 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care Surgery setting. You should also possess an active RN license, a degree from an accredited nursing program, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Additionally, ACLS certification may be required depending on the facility's policies.
