Position Overview: As a Senior Electrical Estimator, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive estimates for projects based on design documents and specifications, with a focus on Electrical, Technology, and Low Voltage systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee estimating functions for intricate projects, including Mission Critical and Government contracts with significant MEP package values.
  • Effectively communicate estimates and scopes of work to relevant stakeholders, including project teams and clients.
  • Conduct thorough quantity take-offs and analyses for Electrical and Low Voltage systems throughout all project phases.
  • Evaluate existing site conditions and contract documents to identify necessary scope elements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local suppliers and trade partners to ensure accurate pricing.
  • Perform constructability assessments and relay design issues to the project team.
  • Engage in life cycle cost analysis and collaborate with the design team.
  • Lead strategic initiatives and contribute expertise in Electrical and Low Voltage systems.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for MEP teams.
  • Coordinate with Operations and Estimators to address general conditions in estimates.
  • Facilitate the bidding process for Electrical and Low Voltage systems, ensuring comprehensive scope coverage.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant estimating experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of Electrical and Low Voltage systems.
  • Strong project management capabilities with a focus on multitasking and prioritization.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and estimating software.
  • Experience in supervising teams and providing constructive feedback.

Physical and Work Environment: This role requires regular office work, with occasional site visits. Employees may encounter various physical demands and environmental conditions typical of construction sites.
