The Opportunity:

Tetra Tech is seeking a highly skilled Field Coordinator Maintenance Technician to join our Logistics team based in Maitland, Florida. This is a project-based role working in a hybrid capacity in our Maitland office.

As a Field Coordinator Maintenance Technician, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people around the world. Your Role:

The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the Maitland Warehouse Manager in maintaining Tetra Tech equipment through daily, weekly, and monthly preventive maintenance activities. You will also be responsible for preparing items for deployment and delivering resources to project locations, ensuring proper functioning in the field.

Additional warehouse duties include:

  • Pulling, packing, and labeling orders
  • Preparing kits of parts and materials
  • Receiving goods and stocking shelves
  • Assisting in processing returns

During times of disaster, you will be responsible for deploying to disaster areas and assisting Project Managers with Logistics tasks such as:

  • Tracking inventory and burn rates of supplies in the field
  • Picking up and delivering supplies as needed in the field
  • Logging inventory once received
  • Performing inventory audits and coordinating with Maitland Logistics
  • Providing maintenance activities on vehicles and equipment in the field
Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Logistics experience preferred
  • Maintenance experience, including experience maintaining vehicles and machinery
  • Ability to travel and deploy for an estimated 2 weeks or more at a time
  • A valid driver's license
  • Ability to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds many times in one day
  • Basic understanding of computers
  • Ability to work under stressful situations in a team environment
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks with sometimes conflicting priorities
  • A self-starter with the ability to take direction
  • Schedule flexibility
