Epic Travel Staffing is actively seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CVICU).

Position Overview & Requirements
  • Specialty: CVICU

  • Duration: 17 weeks
  • Hours: 48 hours per week
  • Shift: 12 hours
  • Employment Type: Travel

Job Highlights:

  • Position: Travel RN - Cardiovascular Surgical ICU
  • Shift: Rotating Day/Night, 12x4, 48 hours per week, every other weekend, with consideration for 36 hours
  • Call: 2 available call shifts per 6-week schedule
  • Holidays: Every other holiday or as needed

Qualifications:

  • Active MD License
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Experience in a dedicated Open-Heart Unit, managing patients directly from the operating room
  • Current experience in recovering post-operative cardiac surgery patients in an ICU environment, including Vent, CRRT, Swan, Epicardial wires/pacemakers, vasoactive drips titration, Level 1 IABP, ECMO
  • BLS Certification
  • ACLS Certification preferred
  • Critical Care Certification, trauma course, and EPIC experience preferred

Unit Details:

  • 18-bed unit
  • Nurse/Patient Ratio: 1:1 or 1:2
