Job Overview

As a key member of the Seminole Gaming team, the Carpet and Tile Technician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining carpet and tile areas throughout the Hard Rock Facility. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, repair, and maintain carpet and tile areas in all areas of the Hard Rock Facility.
  • Adhere to Seminole Tribe's Policies and Procedures.
  • Measure, cut, and install carpet and tile, using various tools and equipment.
  • Inspect and monitor surfaces to identify cracks or other defects and report to supervisor.
  • Maintain and repair tools and equipment as necessary.
  • Interface and coordinate with internal departments to schedule installations and repairs.
  • Assist in estimating material costs and labor hours needed to complete assigned jobs.
  • Examine blueprints, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered and lay out work.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or trade school certificate required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests in English.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment

The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced, and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino-related environmental factors, including second-hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant exposure to the general public.
