Job Overview

Kirlin Way Mechanical is a leading mechanical contractor seeking a skilled VDC Coordinator to drive the adoption of construction technologies on large capital projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for successful deployment of VDC initiatives and technology platforms, providing project-specific support and subject matter expertise.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and implement BIM/VDC execution strategies and plans for projects.
  • Manage the implementation of Kirlin Way's best practices and high standards for predictable and efficient VDC delivery.
  • Oversee project-specific VDC strategies, scope, and plans.
  • Prepare sign-off sheets and ensure projects adhere to contractual requirements.
  • Provide guidance on contract language for BIM scopes and review trade partner BIM qualifications.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful VDC implementation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2-7+ years of construction technologies and hands-on experience in the AEC industry driving the adoption of VDC on large capital projects.
  • Strong graphical, illustration, and documentation skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Advanced level software knowledge in Autodesk packages (i.e., Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, etc.) and other platforms.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software tools and technologies.
