SST Direct delivers innovative laser technology solutions to Automotive, Aerospace, Medical, and Scientific research communities. We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to support our customers in North America.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and computer systems, excellent diagnostic skills, and previous experience with robotics, lasers, automation systems, or mechatronics. Microsoft Office proficiency is also essential.

This direct hire opportunity offers a competitive salary of $32/hour (based on experience), including overtime and per diem pay. A relocation package is available for suitable candidates.

Responsibilities include:

  • Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing company equipment with high quality
  • Completing basic retrofits, software installations, and customer training
  • Working independently to resolve technical problems and maintain good relationships with customers

Qualifications:

  • Two-year technical degree in engineering or a related field preferred, or combination of training and work experience
  • Strong electrical and computer systems experience and high level of diagnostic skills
  • Previous experience with robotics, lasers, automation systems, or mechatronics required
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
