Maintenance Coordinator II

The Maintenance Coordinator II will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring operation effectiveness, and planning for current and future maintenance needs for the district or region.
Key Responsibilities- Receive and verify daily work programs from the programmer and ensure reception of materials and necessary tools.
- Designate team members to execute specified work and establish performance goals with the work team.
- Monitor and control work quality, quantity, and safety in accordance with CEMEX Group policies and procedures.
- Encourage team members, acknowledging achievements and correcting inadequate performance.
- Guarantee that maintenance and operation programs are established and executed in accordance with specifications.
- Verify entry of finished work orders and provide feedback to the execution program.
- Support team members in activities related to the Maintenance Program implementation and development.
- Report emergency works, applied labor, and used resources.
- Provide support to the maintenance planner in estimating parts, materials, and external resources.
- Execute maintenance works according to the weekly or daily program.
- 5 years of progressive maintenance experience in large industrial manufacturing industries.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in heavy industrial or heavy manufacturing.
- Proven knowledge of Preventative and Predictive maintenance methodologies and technologies.
- Proven experience in execution of reliability methodologies such as RCA, RCI, FMFA, Statistical downtime analysis, Fishbone analysis, etc.
- Proven experience in engineering, specification, and design of mechanical systems, assets, and projects.
- Excellent communication, team interaction, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and lead/participate on cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience as a self-starter who effectively manages multiple tasks and achieves results with minimal supervision.
- Proven understanding of electrical regulatory and industrial standards and codes.
- Proven understanding of control and instrumentation systems in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- CMRP or CRE status.
- Vibration Level 1 or 2 certification.
- Proven experience in CMMS systems.
- Proven knowledge of reliability methodologies and strategies such as RCM, TPM, Spare Parts Management, Planning, and Scheduling.
Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.
Physical RequirementsRequired walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree.
Heavy work-exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safety around heavy rolling equipment.
Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls.
Must pass DOT physical to include back x-ray, hearing test, and drug/alcohol screening.
