About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Paint Technician to join our team at Caterpillar Inc. As a Paint Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate powder coat, paint, or other equipment to apply industrial powder coat or paint on metals or products according to the specified work order.
  • Follow required safety procedures at all times.
  • Perform various tasks such as shot blast operator, powder painter, caulker, blow off operator, loader/unloader, masker/demasker, and pre-inspector.
Requirements
  • Prior work experience in a related field.
  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive operations.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in shot blast operations.
  • Experience in fabrication powder coat painting.
  • Experience in top coat, prime coat, and electrostatic paint.
  • Ability to read blueprints/engineering drawings.

First Shift: $17.41/hour

Third Shift: $18.80/hour (includes 8% night shift premium)
