- Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest game engine technologies and programming languages, and apply this knowledge to develop high-quality game experiences.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with designers, artists, and other engineers to ensure that game projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Problem-Solving: Identify and troubleshoot technical issues that arise during game development, and implement solutions that meet the needs of the project.
- 7+ years of experience as a game engineer shipping multiple AAA, casual, or mobile games.
- Experience building games for early or unfinished platforms.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with multiple game engine technologies, such as Unity3D and UnrealEngine.
- Passion for making video games, especially in a rapid, focused, smaller form versus multi-year investments.
- Experience with C# and C++ programming languages.
Los Gatos/Los Angeles - Remote United States and Canada with ability to travel 3-4x per year to CA.
