A typical day will encompass the following duties:

  • Act as a reliable resource throughout the entire spectrum of program services, pinpointing barriers to therapy and assisting patients in understanding and overcoming these challenges.

  • Engaging with the patient's insurance provider to clarify coverage benefits, anticipated out-of-pocket expenses, and available financial assistance resources.
  • Support mechanisms to help manage the stress related to their diagnosis.

Encourage patient involvement in their care process by connecting them with additional support for non-program needs, such as social services or other intervention programs.

Reporting Requirements:

Must hold a valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the relevant state. A minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience, particularly in related disease states, is preferred. Experience in nurse line triage, call center utilization management, or clinical trial nursing is advantageous. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
