Medical Physicist

We are seeking a highly skilled Therapeutic Medical Physicist to join our team at AdventHealth Sebring Wauchula Lake Placid. As a key member of our radiation oncology department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the advancement of our clinical programs.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the quality care of patients by providing medical physics services that meet or exceed state and federal requirements, as well as national standards of care in radiation oncology.
- Direct the linear accelerator maintenance program through service engineers and oversee all aspects of the information technology program related to radiation oncology.
- Develop and implement new programs and technologies, such as information management, treatment planning, and new modalities.
- Remodel existing sites, develop and evaluate shielding designs, clinical treatment programs, and technologies.
- Assist in physics coverage of other Florida Hospital Radiation Oncology locations as directed by the Chief Therapy Physicist.
- Assist the Administrative and Medical Director in developing and implementing the clinical quality management program and maintaining an efficient and effective clinical operation.
- Minimum of three years of clinical radiation therapy physics experience.
- Current active State of Florida license as a Therapeutic Medical Physicist.
