Metric5 is a leading provider of security solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled Security Governance Expert to join our team. As a Security Governance Expert, you will play a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of our IT systems, developing and implementing a comprehensive security program, and working closely with system owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure security controls are met.
About the Role:
We are looking for a seasoned professional with expertise in NIST 800-53 security controls, risk management, and continuous monitoring. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive security program to ensure compliance with NIST 800-53 security controls.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats.
- Work closely with system owners, developers, and stakeholders to ensure security controls are met.
- Implement and continuously monitor NIST 800-53 security controls in large Federal government environments.
- Develop and implement a continuous monitoring strategy to maintain an ongoing awareness of information security, vulnerabilities, and threats.
