About the Role

The Digital Transformation Specialist will be responsible for collaborating closely with teams across the organization in identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements, leveraging digital solutions such as Power Apps and PowerBI, to enhance insights and decision-making.

This role will bridge the gap between data analytics and continuous improvement methodologies, advancing our digital reporting capabilities and instilling best practices to ensure our commitment to excellence and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with teams to identify and implement process improvements, utilizing digital tools to boost operational efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage stakeholders to capture requirements for new reports and digital capabilities, ensuring outputs align with user needs.
  • User Feedback Analysis: Seek out and analyze user feedback to continuously improve the effectiveness and user experience of digital tools and reports.
  • Reporting and Visualization: Utilize PowerBI to create compelling visualizations that convey data in an easily understandable format for reporting purposes.
  • Documentation and Standardization: Document both new and existing PowerBI Reports to aid in standardization efforts.
  • Report Management: Assist in managing a library of reports, ensuring they are well organized, up to date, and easily accessible to users within the organization.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Assist in the development and executing of new continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field required; 2+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing, or similar role, developing and implementing digital solutions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite and Microsoft Power Platform (including SharePoint, PowerApps, Power Automate, and PowerBI); Power Query, SQL, VBA, HTML, DAX preferred.
  • Certifications: Microsoft Power Platform Certifications preferred; Six Sigma, Lean-Sigma, or Lean Certifications preferred.
Skills and Abilities
  • Technical Aptitude: Strong technical skill and aptitude, with a particular emphasis on PowerBI and PowerApps.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Flexible working style with the capability to thrive both when working independently and as part of a team; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational and Analytical Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks efficiently; analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Planning and Time Management: Solid planning and time management abilities with experience in managing projects.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all tasks undertaken.
