About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Obstetrician and Gynecologist to join our team at Allina Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to improve health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care for obstetrics and gynecology patients, including routine check-ups, prenatal care, and surgical procedures.
- Work collaboratively with patients to develop personalized care plans and improve their overall health and well-being.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in obstetrics and gynecology.
Practice Details
- We have eight labor and delivery locations, with over 13,800 deliveries per year.
- Our team includes 53 OBGYNs, 21 OB hospitalists, 13 Clinical Nurse Midwives, and 11 Maternal Fetal Medicine specialists.
- We offer a range of support programs, including nursing support, after-hours answering service, and integrative medicine collaboration.
- Our facilities include quaternary and tertiary hospitals, as well as regional hospitals.
Requirements
- MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required.
- OBGYN BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required.
- Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain).
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI).
- Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges.
