Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Golden Corral. As a Meat Cutter, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and quantity of our meat products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cut meat according to product specifications and time standards.
  • Implement and follow the buffet production system to maintain quality and shelf life compliance.
  • Rotate cut and boxed meat to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
  • Stock and arrange the Meat Cooler in accordance with approved food safety guidelines.
Food Safety and Quality:
  • Sanitize all surfaces between production of chicken and other meats to prevent cross-contamination.
  • Recognize and remove spoiled meat to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Clean and sanitize the meat room according to cleanliness, service, and quality standards.
  • Comply with local health department regulations and guidelines.
Operational Excellence:
  • Use inventory management systems to track and maintain an accurate count of all meat products.
  • Notify management of any discrepancies in product or equipment.
  • Perform opening and closing administrative procedures to ensure seamless operations.
  • Maintain equipment according to the Equipment Maintenance manual to prevent downtime.
  • Complete duty roster tasks as assigned.
