Job Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of physical and behavioral health needs and be able to respond accordingly.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients within the scope of practice
  • Work collaboratively with medical and psychiatric staff to address patient needs
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Document patient information and maintain accurate records
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required
  • Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
