Residency Program Director

Healthcare Network is a leading healthcare organization seeking a highly skilled Family Medicine Physician to join our team. As a core faculty member of our Family Medicine Residency Program, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:

• Practice full-scope family medicine, including obstetrics, pediatrics, and adult care, with a focus on preventative and chronic care.
• Maintain a patient care panel and ensure continuity of care through various modalities, including on-site and telehealth visits.
• Perform clinical care based on evidence-based medicine and maintain board certification through regular CME activities.

Professional and Teaching Responsibilities:

• Commit to teaching excellence and administer an educational environment conducive to educating residents in each of the ACGME competency areas.
• Serve as attending/faculty physicians in the residency continuity clinic, supervising residents and assisting in developing, directing, and managing the Family Medicine residency program.
• Regularly participate in organized clinical discussions, rounds, including journal clubs and conferences, and participate in scholarly activity and quality improvement projects with residents.
• Serve as role models and mentors for residents, demonstrating high motivation, collaboration, and effective management skills.

Requirements:

• Board Certified or eligible Family Medicine physician with an unrestricted Florida license.
• Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish or Creole).
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and establish rapport with colleagues and residents.
