With 1048 patient beds and 65 operating rooms, we offer a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services, including a regional emergency/trauma center and an endo-surgery center.

Position Overview

The Surgical Technologist (ST) plays a crucial role in the surgical team, assisting in the preparation and care of patients undergoing surgical procedures. Under the guidance of a registered nurse, the ST applies their knowledge of sterile techniques, human anatomy, and surgical procedures to support the surgical team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Level I: As a new graduate or entry-level Surgical Technologist, you will perform essential duties while demonstrating a commitment to service excellence. Responsibilities include maintaining a sterile environment, preparing the operating room with necessary instruments, and assisting in patient care.
  • Level II: In this role, you will take on additional responsibilities, including mentoring new staff and anticipating the needs of the surgical team. You will ensure compliance with safety standards and contribute to the overall efficiency of surgical operations.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must be graduates of an accredited Surgical Technology program or possess relevant military training. Experience requirements vary by level, with Level I being suitable for new graduates and Level II requiring additional experience.
