Your expertise will be essential in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough and accurate echocardiographic and vascular examinations on patients, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

• Collaborate with physicians to interpret examination results, provide diagnostic information, and develop treatment plans.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient examinations, including examination results, diagnoses, and treatment plans.

Physical Demands:

• The position requires continuous finger dexterity, seeing, and hearing, as well as frequent sitting, standing, walking, twisting of the body, and speaking.

• Occasional stooping/bending, squatting, reaching above and below shoulder level, lifting usual weights of 50 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 50 pounds of force, repetitive arm/hand motion, and static gripping of objects for prolonged periods are also required.

Working Conditions:

• The position is subject to inside environmental conditions, including low light settings, and exposure to noise/vibration from ultrasound transducers.

• You will be exposed to communicable diseases and body fluids, requiring adherence to established infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

• A Board registration by the American Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in cardiac or vascular sonography is required, with registration obtained within 12 months of entrance into the position if not already registered upon hire.

• Current BLS certification is also required.

• Prior recent experience as a cardiac and/or vascular sonographer in an acute healthcare facility is preferred.
