Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled veterinary technician to join our team as a Veterinary Triage Specialist. As a key member of our emergency veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and excellent client service.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients upon presentation to the hospital and prioritize their care based on their condition
  • Provide estimates for care and educate clients on their pet's treatment options
  • Act as a liaison between clients and veterinarians as needed
  • Work collaboratively with our veterinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience as a veterinary technician and/or 5+ years in emergency medicine
  • Ability to maintain composure during times of high stress
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift animals up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
